Therefore this blog entry will not be a long winded post of my study progress and how very terrified I am of finals and the horrifying concept of a bad grade on my medical school transcript and how I'll never get a residency if I don't do well in anatomy and, and, and...! You see why I'm not going to write that blog entry?Instead I'll talk about my camera! ...what? That's even more boring than hearing about me studying? *pouting* I don't have anything else! Just me, my books and a gorgeous island to take pictures of.
So I was playing with the settings on my camera last night and discovered to my delight that I could change the shutter speed! Meaning that I could take night pictures and actually have them come out! Yippee! I, of course, now want a tripod.
Anyways, here is my first somewhat crappy night picture. It's of a barge that is usually close to the harbor. It's not impressive at all in the daylight but it's very pretty all light up at night.
Day:Night:
And here is a pic of the harbor at night. It was fairly cloudy yesterday so it didn't come out that well. Rest assured I will keep taking pictures though! (haha, sorry) You can see the barge over in the left hand corner to give you an idea of scale.
